Q. I am a new customer - can I get a discount?
A. Firstly, we are delighted that you want to give us a try and we hope you will be blown away by our products and service. If you would like to use the code "new13" at check-out it will give you 10% off your first order. Please note that the 10% discount is only for items that are not already reduced and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts (sorry!)
Q. I've ordered a new dog bed, how long do I have to wait until I can get it?
A. Our standard delivery service is 3-5 working days, however if you need any item in a rush you can select our Premium (2-3 working days) or Express (1-2 working day) service. There are additional charges for these services and they are also dependent on our stock availability. We're always on the end of the phone so if you want to chat about delivery or stock then please just get in touch on 0845 45 65 900.
Q. How do I know what size bed to order for my dog?
A. Every dog sleeps in a different manner, however we recommend that you see whether they sleep curled up or stretched out (a curler or a stretcher as they are affectionately known). This will give you a better indication as to which size to go for. Most of the measurements on the site are taken to the outside of the bed, so please bear this in mind when ordering. If you have any doubts though please just give us a call and our team will be delighted to help you (any excuse to talk dogs!!!)
Q I am looking for a new dog coat for my dog, how do I ensure I get the right size?
A. Each manufacturer has their own guidelines, however we recommend measuring the width of the neck, the chest and the distance from your dogs neck to the top of their tail (this is easier said than done in practice!!). There is further information included with each item description, however if in doubt give us a call. We also offer a No Fuss returns policy - see our delivery and returns section, so if you don't get it right first time we can arrange for an exchange.
Q. Can I order dog food through Muddy Paws?
A. We're sorry, but at the moment we are only offering a variety of tasty treats and chews.
Q. I'm reluctant to put my credit card details into your website - is it secure.
A. Muddy Paws uses Sagepay and Lloyds TSB cardnet to process all of our credit card bookings. All transactions are highly encrypted and each customer's credit card details are totally secure. If you order through the website we don't even see your card details and we don't store any card details on file.
Q. Is there a promotional code I can enter to get a discount?
A. From time to time Muddypaws offers promotions and we will advertise these when they are running. They will have a promotional code which you enter at checkout. Please note that these promotions never apply to items that are on sale or if we are running other promotions (for example, free postage)
Q. I would like to pay by cheque, is this possible?
A. We are happy to accept cheques, however cannot send any products out until a cheque has cleared through our bank account.
Q. I would like to purchase an dog bed as a gift for our friends, are you able to gift wrap items?
A. We can gift wrap items (provided that they are not too big!) - Please contact us to discuss. We also have MuddyPaws gift vouchers which make the perfect present for your canine loving friend.
Q. What packaging do you send your goods out in?
A. At Muddypaws we send most of our products out in recycled Polythene mailing bags or cardboard boxes. We also believe strongly in recycling cardboard boxes and doing our bit for the environment, so we will often send out products in a used box. If they look a bit tired when they arrive please forgive us but we think it's worth the sacrifice! Please be assured that the product inside is brand new.
