Delivery & Returns
Muddypaws uses Royal Mail and Royal Mail Parcelforce to deliver all of it's products. Delivery shall occur when the company or its carrier arrive at the address given to the company at time of order. Every effort will be made by the company to deliver goods within the period specified by the company; however such dates will not constitute part of the contract. Royal Mail recorded aims to deliver it's items within two working days and Parcelforce 48 hour within three working days.
Our standard charge for delivery is £6.95 per order and this is via Parcelforce 48. Should you be ordering a lighter item, there is the option to select Royal Mail recorded, and charges start from as little as £2.86 to ship to anywhere in the UK. Please note that if you spend more than £65 your are eligible for free shipping.
We aim to dispatch all orders as soon as we have received them, however can only guarantee a next day delivery for orders received before 1pm. Should you wish to have something delivered next day, please contact us to make sure that we can ship it to you in time. Our 24 hour service costs £11.99.
We cannot accept responsibility in the event that goods are left as instructed by you without your presence at the time of delivery. If you fail to accept delivery of goods when delivered the company reserves the right to attempt delivery of the goods at a later date and to invoice you a further delivery charge.
Risk of damage to or loss of the goods shall pass to you upon delivery.
Once your goods have been signed for, you must notify us of any shortages within 48 hours of receipt. We cannot be held liable for shortages from any order if you do not notify us within this period. You can notify us via email to aftersales@muddypaws.co.uk or call us on 0845 362 9663
Delivery Surcharges
Please note that the following areas are subject to a delivery surcharge. This charge is levied by Parcelforce and we pass the cost straight on to the customer. This may not always be shown at checkout, however we will make contact with any affected customers prior to shipping their order to agree and take payment for this charge.
The Highlands and Islands of Scotland - Postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE - £6.00 Surcharge
Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly -postcodes BT, IM, TR21-25 are subject to a £6.50 surcharge for Parcelforce 48 and £10 surcharge for Parcelforce 24
Channel Isles - Please note that deliveries to the Channel Isles are subject to a £7.50 delivery surcharge. Items will be shipped via Parcelforce Euro 48
Free Delivery Offer
We are currently ONLY able to offer free delivery on all orders over £75.00 for delivery to address on the mainland UK.
Any order placed over £75.00 where a delivery address not within the mainland UK is selected will be subject to a £6 delivery charge. (this may not always be shown at checkout, however we will make contact with any affected customers prior to shipping their order to agree and take payment for this charge).
Please note that any sales made to the Channel Isles will be posted via Royal Mail only and are subject to a £9.99 surcharge. For details of additional charges please see Delivery Surcharges above.
Returns
We hope you will be highly satisfied with any product purchased on our website but if you wish to return an item to us then we aim to make it as quick and convenient as possible.
Muddy Paws are happy to refund or exchange any product that you are not satisfied with, however they MUST be returned unused in the original packaging, with proof of purchase and have your unique Returns Number form attached to the outer box. Returns costs are at your own expense and costage costs will not be refunded under any circumstances.. If you wish to return a product you must inform us within 7 days of receipt and the product must be returned to us within 14 days of receipt. If you choose to return a dog ded, the bed must be completely clean of all dog hair.
How to Return a Product
Products must be returned to Returns Dept, Muddy Paws, 2 The Paddocks, Iwerne Minster, Dorset DT11 8PJ.
Returns Number must be obtained by emailing service@muddypaws.co.uk (please state your product, your order number and reason for return in the mail) we will post you a returns form with your Returns number on and a document holder, this must be attached with the returns address showing and returned to us. We will arrange a courier if required to pick up goods at your cost.(details below)
Except as otherwise stated in company literature the price shall exclude delivery and you will be liable to pay the company's specified delivery charges.
The company shall reserve the right to change the delivery process and charges without notification. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the parties, payment shall be due and payable at the time the order is placed and accepted by the company.
Sale Price Items
Please note that sale price items are not eligible for any further discounts.
Opening Offer Discount
The 10% discount for all new customers is valid until the end of 2008 and can only be redeemed against full price items. The discount is only on the purchase price and not on post and packaging costs. please note that if the offer is used with the free shipping offer, free shipping can only be offered if the order comes to £75 after the 10% discount.
