Woofstock UK - A festival for dogs, organised by dogs!

IT'S A DOG'S WORLD AT WOOFSTOCK UK - Saturday 13th September '14

Famous spaniel Harry, author of best selling ‘Help my dog's on Twitter', interviewed on BBC Radio, ITV1, Radio City, Sunday Times and dog magazines. Lover of music, tennis balls, swimming, mud and followed by thousands of other dogs and their families daily on twitter, is bringing all of his favourite things together to launch

Woofstock UK

a one day only fabulous fun family festival by dogs for dogs to be held in a 9 ½ acre field in Marnhull, Dorset, on September 13th 2014. So if you are a human who loves dogs, wants a dog or loves all things dog, or you are a dog then this is the event for you!

Here are some of the great things that will be happening:

  • Wonderful live music including The Beau Bow Belles, Jay Stansfield, The Flower Power Band, The Business Covers Band, Shugmonkeyband and Obsidian ....
  • Plenty of dog shows and events including the Waggiest Tail, Best looking Dog, Fastest Ice Cream Eater, Fastest Sausage Eater, Distraction Alley (where dogs have to race round the course distracted by food!) and Owner who looks most like their dog ...
  • Obstacle courses for dogs .... and their owners!
  • Food and drinks area with lots of delicious produce from local Dorset and Devon suppliers ...
  • a dog whisperer, trainers, mystery guests and many more ...!
  • Stalls selling everything that a dog or its owner could need from clothes to food
  • Meet up points for twitter pals
  • Doggy creche

Early Bird Tickets start at £8.50 for adults, £6.50 for children and seniors and DOGS GO FREE and will receive a biscuit as their ticket (but do not have to bring it with them to get in!) There are also family packages - check out details on the website
