Crufts Product Reviews - How to travel with your dog
Posted on: March 06 2015
Having run around the thousands and thousands of stands at Crufts this year, I have come across a couple of really clever ideas that I wanted to share with you – if you are at Crufts you can pick them up there, if not, you can always order from ourselves or through the web address mentioned below.
As many of you know, I have recently welcomed Holly to the family (she is a little devil) and we had our first trip away a couple of weeks ago. I did not realise how much clobber I would have to take with me to look after her whilst I was away, and found myself with bags and bags of bits and bobs!
I came across the “Stay over Rover” bag from Collarways (Hall 1, stand 168) – it is a great idea and has zippered sections so I could organise Holly’s mountains of goodies in a clever way (rather than just having them stuffed into a tesco’s bag!)
When it is completely open, it has a swivel hook at the top (rather like a suit carrier), so it can be hung up, and then it is folded in half it has a useful shoulder strap for carrying every around. It costs £34.99 (a bargain in my opinion!) and is available from www.stayoverrover.com
The other clever storage solution is the Ruffwear Haul Bag – in true Ruffwear style, this bag is the Rolls Royce of dog travel bags It is bigger than the above, tougher and has either a carry or shoulder strap option. It has a 15 litre capacity and has a wide-mouth opening so you can store the largest of items in there! At £74.99 it is not cheap, however if you are familiar with Ruffwear products, you know how good they are!
